Not This Again

If there’s one type of person I can’t stand (and believe me, there’s more than one) it is family/friends of deceased or incarcerated criminals who can’t see their family member or friend with any objectivity whatsoever. I admit, that may not be fair of me. It’d be a tough situation. But tough situations can be handled well. If your dad flies a plane into a government building, calling him a “hero” is not handling it well. Even if you offer your “deepest condolences” to the victim’s family. That’s just like a slap in the face. “I’m sorry your dad is dead, but my dad is a hero for doing that thing caused your dad to die.”

Joe Stack’s daughter, Samantha Bell, also had this to say “But if nobody comes out and speaks up on behalf of injustice, then nothing will ever be accomplished,” Uhhh hello? Obama Not Interested In Helping Victims of 9/11

I’m no political pundit, but I get the impression that Obama is more concerned with making himself a legacy as the president who brought us national health care than he is anything else. It does not matter to him that the American people do not want his health care plan. I thought he made this clear when he informed us all “I don’t quit.” In the face of diminshing health care support. That bothered me slightly, but I would expect it so it certainly wasn’t worth writing about. Politics suck. Here’s something worth writing about though. The Obama Administration does not support the 9/11 health bill. Are you serious? (more…)

Music Used To “Torture” At Gitmo

I just watched a story on abc.com news about US jailers at Guantanamo Bay using music to torture the detainees there. Apparently there is quite an outrage with a long list of musicians stepping forward to demand the declassification of all materials in regard to this matter. Musicians like (more…)
