Vilma Rivas Buchala, 45, is charged with failure to stop and render aid.

The blundering fool Farouk Shami’s bid to become Texas’s next governor is over! Ex-Houston Mayor Bill White soundly defeated him and like 19 other candidates. Thursday, 18 year old Jose De La Rosa was shot by Harris County Sheriff’s deputies after he shot four people, killing two of them and then pulled a gun on the deputies. Now KHOU has this bleeding heart story asking whether or not Jose had to die. We get to see his family tell us what a good boy he was and we get to hear them complain that EMTs and deputies didn’t do enough to save Jose. KHOU even seems to be doing a little investigating into the response of the medical personnel. Give me a break. (more…)
Farouk Shami… Running for governor of the state of Texas. Palestine born, anti-Israeli, Farouk Shami. This guy makes me sick. I’ve seen him several times and met him on occasion. I saw the guy sit down at a restaurant with his driver, and then send his driver to sit at another table. He thinks because he has worked hard and lived the American dream (I can respect that) that he can be governor. Governor of the state of Texas! It’s ridiculous to even think of. Now this ridiculous man has taken another step to show how misguided and out of touch with reality he is (more…)
I just watched a catastrophic and thoroughly entertaining melt down in the top of the ninth at Minute Maid Park. Jose Valverde was brought in to close the game with the Astros leading 3-2. He promptly got a first out and things were looking good for the ‘Stros. I wanted the Astros to win, but honestly I enjoyed being there for this ending more than I would have enjoyed seeing them win 3-2.

Fighting happens in baseball. But it appears time are changing. No more is it enough to fight the other team. Nowadays it appears even scrapping with your own team is not satisfying some of the guys. They’ve turned their attention to the front office.
